In this society it is easy to get tangled in the web of external judgments and unattainable ideals, the path of self-acceptance and self-love shines as a beacon of spiritual awakening to steadfast confidence that goes far beyond physical appearance. As a self-acceptance and self-love advocate and boudoir photographer, I’ve had the honor of witnessing the sacred journey of countless souls who dare to embrace their true essence. Today, I invite you to explore three embodiment practices to ignite your confidence and deepen your connection with self. Remember these are practices, so you must take aligned action to get the most out of them. Done daily with intention, these 3 simple things can transform your life to a new level of self-trust & confidence.


1. Grounding Meditation: Becoming Rooted in Your Divine Essence.

Confidence finds its source in the recognition of your divine nature. Grounding meditation is a sacred practice that facilitates this profound connection. Find a tranquil space where you can retreat from the world’s distractions. Sit or lie down comfortably, close your eyes, and take a series of deep, intentional breaths to center yourself. Now, visualize roots extending from the soles of your feet, or your tailbone if sitting, delving deep into the nurturing embrace of Mother Earth. Envision these roots absorbing the ancient wisdom and stability of the earth, filling you with unwavering strength and resilience. With each inhale, draw this grounding energy up through your roots, allowing it to permeate every cell of your being. As you exhale, release any lingering tension, self-doubt, or fear. Continue this sacred exchange for several minutes.

This practice done regularly can empower you to face life’s challenges with profound self-assuredness.

2. Mirror Affirmations: Gaze into Your Soul with Love.

Our relationship with our reflection is an intimate dialogue with our soul. Mirror affirmations are a spiritual practice that opens the door to self-love.

Stand in front a mirror, gaze into your own eyes, and take a moment to breathe deeply. When you are ready speak gentle and loving affirmations to yourself. Whisper truths like “I am a sacred vessel of beauty and light,” “I embrace my divine essence,” or “I am deserving of love and acceptance.” Dig into the areas you need more confidence & create affirmations that speak to those things. Remember, say them as if they are TRUE! Not “I wish” “I want” or “I hope”. Say “I AM” These are powerful words. Recite these affirmations daily, and as you do, listen to the whispers of your soul. When resistance or self-criticism arises, counter it with a loving affirmation, allowing the wisdom of your soul to guide you.

Through mirror affirmations, you will unveil the radiant truth of your inner beauty, cultivating profound self-acceptance and confidence.

3. Self-Care: Nourishing Body and Spirit


Self-care is a spiritual act of devotion to your sacred vessel. Engaging your senses can be a sacred ritual to reconnect with your body and amplify your confidence. Here’s a soulful sensory self-care practice:

Select a moment within your day to pause and engage your senses. It might be the simple act of savoring a cup of herbal tea, meandering mindfully in nature (my go to), or luxuriating in a warm bath infused with essential oils. In this sacred moment, immerse yourself fully in the sensations, scents, and tastes. Release any judgments or distractions, allowing yourself to dance in the symphony of sensations. This practice kindles a deeper relationship with your body and spirit, nurturing your self-acceptance and self-love with the tender care it deserves. Which are fundamental to showing up in life with confidence.
